New 2015 Toyota Corolla LE

Hey everyone, new to the hypermiling community. Have been on and off with striving to get better mpg's, however with the purchase of my new 2015 Corolla, the benefit of having a real-time mpg screen, along with current trip averages, definitely makes both myself and the wife drive MUCH better. My best trip so far is 48 mpg, and I average 43-44 mpg combined trips. That is with pretty much semi-regular driving (ie. no special maneuvers), cruise control, and AC. I just do reasonable acceleration (this car has an eco-gauge so I just stay within eco guidelines for throttle), as well as not racing to red lights (which I always laugh at people who do that). Tire pressure for the door jamb is 32 psi, and I set to 35 psi. I know I could technically go to 51 psi (Toyo Proxes 4 Plus) but the ride is very comfy and I didn't want to jeopardize that.

Anyways, I really feel like ALL cars should come with real-time mpg, as I bet it would make more people drive better.
