Pricing is ok on the surface depending on the AT upcharge for most.

2015 Chevrolet Colorado extended cab - $20,995 to start incl. D&H and a DI 200 hp 2.5L I4 mated to a 6-speed MT. <-- Before the 2.8L Duramax turbo diesel arrives, I think we could work with that stick. ;)



PW, a rear-vision camera with dynamic guide lines and a locking tailgate are also part of the package.



Available drivetrain and feature options will include a DI 305 hp 3.6L V-6 mated to a 6-speed AT, the 4G LTE WiFi hotspot; Forward Collision Alert and Land Departure Warning, and a GearOn accessory system.



Two cab configurations will be available, the base extended-cab and 5-passenger crew-cab. GM stated the Crew-cab Colorado’s will offer a choice of 5- or 6-foot boxes while the baser extended-cab models include the 6-foot box exclusively.

The 2WD Colorado LT Crew Cab and the 5-foot box has a starting price of $27,985 incl. D&H. The 4WD Colorado Z71 Crew Cab with the 5-foot box starts at $34,990.



2015 GMC Canyon



2015 GMC Canyon Pricing Starts at $21,880 incl. D&H and a DI 200 hp 2.5L I4 mated to the same 6-speed MT. It will include LED lighting, four-way power driver’s seat, CornerStep rear bumper, 16-inch alloys, and rear vision camera standard.



2015 GMC Canyon Trims



The 2WD extended cab SLE trim starts at $27,520 incl. D&H and includes aluminum interior trim, soft-touch instrument panel and door pads, EZ-lift and lower tailgate, eight-inch diagonal color-touch radio with Intellilink, and OnStar 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot with a three-month or three-GB trial (whichever comes first).

2015 GMC Canyon Exterior

The 4WD Canyon SLT crew cab with the 5 ft. box starts at $37,875 incl. D&H. It incorporates the DI 305 hp 3.6L V6 plus leather-appointed seating, automatic climate control, 18-inch polished alloys, remote start and an automatic locking rear differential.



Like the Colorado, Canyon options available across the lineup include the 3.6L V6, six-speed AT, Bose premium seven-speaker audio system, and the GearOn accessory system.



Base Canyon extended cab models will arrive with a 6-foot 2-inch box, or crew cab models with either the 6-foot 2-inch or a 5-foot 2-inch box.



Every 2015 Colorado and Canyon comes with a five-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty and three-year/36,000-mile bumper-to-bumper warranty, includes two years or 24,000 miles – whichever comes first – of standard scheduled maintenance.

2015 GMC Canyon Interior

Full size competitors are knocking on the GM compact trucks doors given all of the available discounts. In any case, the two new GM truck additions will certainly make some waves when they are released. Next question is will they break the RAM 1500s 3.6L V6 mated to the 8-speed ATs 17 or 18/25 mpgUS city/highway rating? My fingers are crossed! :)
