Now with the PHB in my hands, time to start converting some old PCs (note: stats may be a bit different from the originals due to how 5e handles them)
My favorite PC of all time, Merdock. I can't find the sheet where he was level 15, only the old level 9 one, but I know he was level 15 as he was my highest level PC. A human fighter who couldn't qualify as a paladin but didn't stop me from role-playing him as one from the chivalry side.
Second favorite is Norlay, a level 6 bushi/4 ninja from 1e. So far it seems the shadow monk covers it pretty well if you consider ninja weapons as monk weapons.
