This year is the 30th birthday to one of the coolest, goriest and funniest sci-fi horror comedy cult faves of all time.
I saw this when i was 6 on video and thought it was gross and fun, one of my fave horror and sci-fi movies, it's also a great modern adaptation of Lovecraft's story. Jeffery Combs became a cult star and so did Barbara Crampton who was one of my boyhood crushes.
