First and foremost, you have to have a HK address as domicile if you want to register a company in the country. If you live outside the UK, you have to pay a small amount as annual fee to the attorney who will use his office address in the HK. In other words, all company documents and records have to be kept in the uk address, which is the official address of your company on paper.
Go to the HK Companies House website and download Form Number 10. This will give you the details of how you have to proceed with the Company Registration Hong Kong, including the company's official address and the details of the company officers. From the same website, you have to download Companies House Form 12 which asks you to agree that your company is in compliance with the 1985 Companies Act. The form should be co-signed by a notary, a solicitor, justice of the peace or commissioner of oaths.
Obtain the Memorandum of Association template from a solicitor or a legal entity. This document is important as its lists the name of your company, the registered address, the company's assets and liabilities. The other important document, 'Articles of Incorporation' can also be obtained from a legal solicitor. This document includes the structure of the company, the policies that will govern its operations. This document has to be signed by all the shareholders in the company who are available at the time of inception of the Company Registration Hong Kong.
Send all the documents along with the necessary filing fee to the Companies House of England and Wales. As of now, the filing fee is £20 for standard service which helps your business get registered within ten business days but if you want it to be expedited and get the business registered on the same business day, you have to pay £50. Please note that after registration, you should open a business account for your business with a good bank. Best of luck for your company formation!
