I'm not new to hypermiling, but I'm new here. I've recently purchased a 2012 corolla LE with an AT, 4 speed :( In the past I've hypermiled a 2007 corolla, 2000 mercury sable, 2007 ford freestyle, an on a couple of occasions a 2010 ford fusion hybrid. The first tank on the 2012 corolla which was about 70% city (not quite city but nothing on the tank was actual highway) was 38.01 mpg. That is after no modifications except for driving. I'm a little disappointed in the number (I was hoping for 40), but I'll see what I can do to bring it up.
