The rules of this thread are simple: you get to gush about the most fuel efficient ride that you have ever owned but you also have to cop to the least efficient. Pictures are optional but encouraged.
My least efficient by a mile: The '09 V70. I knew it wasn't going to wow me with butterflies gushing from the tailpipe but it met the rest of my needs and I honestly thought I could tame it. So wrong. It was positively obstinate when it came to getting decent mileage. 23.4 hard-won but disappointing LMPG over 20,000mi.
My most efficient: The '07 Prius. (Duh.) This was a purpose-built FE machine that made it too easy. It had its faults but fuel economy was never one of them. 52.4 LMPG over 92,000mi and it felt like I was cheating the whole time.
