New to forums and hybrids in general. Just traded in a 2008 Infiniti G37 coupe for a low mileage 2010 Lexus HS 250h. I loved the G37 but hated the lousy 18-19 average mpg's. With today's gas prices at well over 4 bucks a gallon for (premium) gas, I was just sick of it already.
My wife is the one that drives it daily, she loves it. I've driven it a handful of times and I got hit by the hypermiling bug almost right away. To the point that even my wife gets annoyed because I'm driving too slow lol! Funny because I used to make fun of all those hypermilers out there. I now understand how it can be addictive. But I will always drive with my AC on. :)
Here's what I got on a 70 mile trip without trying to hypermile.
And a pic of the car.
The car is in like-new condition inside and out. I can't believe it's four years old!
My daily driver is a 2003 civic LX. That car is rock solid and yields 31-34 mpg's consistently depending on how long I'm stuck in traffic.
