15" wheels and tires to replace 16"

Good evening/morning/afternoon , folks. My 2008 Civic LX came with 205/55R/16 wheels and tires. I will be replacing them in the spring. My question is : Can I use 195/65R/15 wheels and tires instead ? That's what is standard on 2012-2014 Civic (except EX). I need to buy new wheels anyway , because I am dedicating the factory steelies to snow tires.



Will the diameter be the same ? Will there be speedo error ? I certainly don't drive in a fashion that requires all that rubber on the road , and I imagine that there are more choices for LRR tires in 195/65R/15.

Any thoughts ?
