WFRP no more? [spoliers]

The End Times have arrived. Of course WFRP isn't in print at all anymore and strickly speaking this realtes to Warhmmer Fantasy Battle, although the Warhammer Fantasy universe in general as it is also in the novels.

Last week the Warhammer Fantasy Universe came to an end, and I mean an end. The whole world gone, sucked into Chaos or otherwise obliterated.



Survivors are countable on one hand, although even then survival isn't assured. The event, "The End Times" does however end with the possibility of rebirth as one lone figure is left (possibly Sigmar) who may then create a whole new world.



Other survivors may include Lizardmen who may have escaped into space; some Skaven who may have sifted Skavenblight, three elves (although others may have found their way to an Haven) and possibly Felix. Undead, Orcs and just about anything else look gone forever.



Whether we will see another WFRP from this possible future world (if that happens) it will be a very different WFRP, certainly with a differnt landscape, possible new races and a long way from WFRP 1st Edition.



Overall I'm not too bothered, Warhammer had moved so far from the 1st Edition and its weirdness that a new world may be a good thing...?
