Have you had a character death that felt good?

Some people hate it when their beloved character dies.

Others might see it as an opportunity to create a new character.

But have you had any deaths that felt good?

One of mine was a commoner fighter who was a surly dirtbag thug. His one redeeming trait was a love for the land he was born in.

Another nation was invading his country, and he fought them alongside his more heroic comrades.

His death came about when it was learned that several cargo ships full of enemy troops were on the way full of enemy soldiers.

He rowed a small boat packed with barrels of explosive powder out to meet the cargo ships. He was shot at by archers on the boat and wounded, but lit the fuses and dived into the water.

The explosion blew a hole in the ships hull and sunk it, taking hundreds of enemy soldiers to the bottom.

But wait...there were more cargo ships.

So he did it again, and this time, although another ship was sunk, he got so full of arrows he keeled over as the fuse was lit, and perished in the blast.

That was a good death.
