I have been flipping through my copy of Hoard of the Dragon Queen and so far I have noticed a number of issues that worry me for what is supposed to be the flagship adventure for 5E D&D.
- There is an obvious editorial/layout gaffe right on the table of contents
- The matte stock makes the art and maps look dark and muddy
- The overland map of the sword coast is pretty but way too small to be usable
- The adventure is literally unusable out of the box. There are statistics for basic creatures that are not included unless you download additional content from the WOTC website.
Anyone else have thoughts on the adventure?
