Spectrum Games is pleased to announce the release of Galactic Heroes, the newest series book for the Cartoon Action Hour: Season 3 roleplaying game. Half of the profit from this PDF will be donated to Spectrum super-fan, David Martin, who has recently suffered some extremely serious financial setbacks that has left him and his family nearly destitute.
According to Spectrum Games president, Cynthia Celeste Miller, David has staunchly supported our products for many years and is very active in our online community. Hes definitely a part of our extended family and, as such, we wanted to help him out during his time of need.
In Galactic Heroes, two astronauts from our world find themselves stranded in another galaxy a galaxy ruled by a despot named Kargorr and his Imperial Order. Almost immediately, they end up on the wrong side of Kargorrs wrath before being rescued by heroic members of the recently-formed Allegiance, who bring these two heroes into the fold in their battle against oppression!
The 28-page PDF contains:
The backstory of how this fictitious series came to be
Information about the setting, including its factions and interesting locales
Did You Know? sidebars that offer insider information about the series
5 ready-to-use Player Characters, including Jason Bravesteel himself
Detailed summaries of the 6 episodes that aired
4 episode seeds to get your group into the action
3 versions of Kargorr (to account for the shows notorious inconsistencies!)
5 other villains
2 types of Goons
3 space ships
2 Playsets
Rules for how to handle Ziggle, the shows annoying sidekick
Numerous illustrations that bring the series to life
Miller states, Kargorr is well known to our fans as the egotistical, grumpy co-host of every edition of Cartoon Action Hour. Hes this failed villain whos just pathetic enough that you almost have to feel sympathy for him. The idea has always been that the cartoon he provided the villainy for was just awful and was cancelled after only six episodes. So, here we are, fleshing out that series to a degree we never dared to in the original article about it published in 2003. If you can read this PDF without laughing at least once, Id be shocked. Its a fun series, seeded with idiocy that you really have to see to believe.
