Hello All!
I am a big fan of RPG games and I just released my first indie RPG at Steam. So I thought it would be interesting to hear what you think about it. The game is an RPG/Strategy turn-based roguelike called Lord of the Dark Castle.
I thought it would be cool to have a competition on this forum, if there is an interest to get some free game keys. This competition uses the Free Demo version of the game on Steam to compete for full Steam activation keys for the game:
-
1st-5th Prize: 1x Steam Activation Key to Lord of the Dark Castle
Goal:
Get as far down into the dungeon as possible with as much gold as possible AND stay alive all the 750 turns of the trial version. If two players get equally far (e.g. dungeon level 3), the amount of gold is counted to get a winner.
When:
The competition start time will be announced after a minimum of 30 players (authentic forum users) has showed interest in this thread ("I want to participate!"). The competition runs for 24 hours.
How:
To prevent players from trying to reach the goal already now, there will be a secret requirement added HERE IN THIS THREAD just when the competition starts.
A player can try any number of games during the 24 hours. The single best result shall be emailed to "creativestudios@craze.se"
Emailed result shall contain a number of screenshots from specific turns: x, y and z (x/y/z turn numbers will be announced when the competition starts).
For the competition to be valid, at least 75% of the minimum competitor number must submit their final results (from separate valid email addresses).
Before answering, feel free to look at the trailer and some YouTube game play. Just Google the name and you will find it. Either you like it or not. (I'm not adding links here, because some forums don't like embedded links.)
Worst case: you would have a quick look at a free game and play around with it a bit and then uninstall it. The game was released yesterday(!), and I actually got a 87/100 review from someone (you can see the full review at the Steam game community page), so the game shouldn't be THAT bad. :-)
If there is no one interested in this forum, I sincerely apologize and wish you a great time playing other RPG games. I love that myself too!
Best Regards
/Christian, Craze Creative Studios
