Stumbled across the below article, about Phillips releasing a $5 LED bulb (60W equivalent). On sale at Home Depot (back ordered online), with currently a 2 pack being sold at the $5 price.

For that price, I figured I'd order a few packs and see how they do. Sure beats the $10/bulb option!
