Detroit, MI – The North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) is now in its 27th year and billed by organizers and a major international event. It is too. Of all the Automobile Shows on the planet, this is “The Show” to attend as the OEMs introduce their most important upcoming wares.
Considering the NACOTY, all-new Volt, 200+ mile range Bolt BEV, NSX, Tacoma, Titan, Sonata HEV/PHEV, Q7 and FCV Concept, is it any wonder?
NAIAS is one of the largest media events in North America with main sponsors including Michelin, The Steel Market Development Institute, Delta Air Lines, DENSO, Johnson Controls, KPMG, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation and ZF.
New sponsor for this year include Verizon which will have floor space and even a press conference scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 12:50 pm.
Shell is another new NAIAS Sponsor and will construct the Shell Innovation Track onsite to demonstrate ultra-energy efficient vehicles designed by teams of Michigan students. The trial runs will provide NAIAS attendees a sneak-peek at the vehicles that are set to compete in the "Shell Eco-marathon Americas" on the streets of downtown Detroit, April 9-12, 2015.
