There was some some excitement about this game several weeks ago but I haven't seen it mentioned. I recently picked it up and am just starting to get into reading it. Has anyone played? Anything to report?
So far, while it seems okay the game feels too simple for my tastes. The Moves feel like their the same and even the example battle seemed pretty repetitive (which, to be fair, Fighting games can be but the visual stimulation and physical action often makes up for it). The example characters have no backgrounds, no personalities and their moves aren't even described beyond the basic mechanics (essentially a bunch of odd symbols). That seemed odd considering the role playing elements in the latter part of the manual. It feels more like a board game with some role playing/story telling optional elements.

Any thoughts on Musha Shugyo?
