I thought about posting this in the 5e/FG thread, but I think it is different enough to get its own.
I don't have any inside knowledge, I'm just trying to read the tea leaves to see what may be possible.
What do you think? Are there other signs that point to the direction of the possible license? I remember reading that Wizards sent some C&D's to several online tools, then later worked something out with a few of them. Anyone know/remember specifics?

- If there were a generous 5e SRD/OGL coming soon, wouldn't Fantasy Grounds just wait for that? By generous I mean that it would have 90+% of the 5e rules and a very permissible license.
- If #1 wasn't known by FG (which is likely although Wizards could have told them their plans in the early negotiations) now that FG is providing the VTT and some online tools, doesn't that mean Wizards needs to ensure the OGL is fairly restrictive so FG gets value from the license?

Fantasy Grounds/5e License bad sign for a generous 5e SRD/OGL?
